This project has been the most interesting one I have done at the college level. The difference I saw at the end between my source material and the finished product really surprised me. In my compositions, I attempted to use repetition, contrast, and asymmetrical balance. I do not believe I was one hundred percent successful in creating non-objective works, and my use of words and text probably most greatly attributed to that. I mostly understood 'non-objective' as being literally, it is not representative of anything by itself. I would change some of my source images, and not include the text, or at least not words. I would also change what marker I used in the end, as it got quite smeary and effected the overall compositions. I believe that some of the compositions when done in the sketchbook in 4x4 looked better than blown up to 8x8. My favorite composition, and the one I think is the most successful is the one with the repetition of the letter H, and the bubbly things in the corner. When we were doing our critiques, most of my feedback was very positive. I think my compositions worked and are really interesting to look at, but because of the words do not come off as non-objective.
