Project 1-Sherhad Mazouri

The project went okay. I don't know art terminology, so I couldn't really give other people decent feedback. When they talked to me about what I drew on crtique day, I couldn't tell what they were even talking about some of the time, but I wanted too. I mean, this isn't specifically a drawing class, but it's still interesting. Everyone kind of went about this differently. Some people had like closeup outlines of their images, and  some of them turned what they traced into designs and patterns. I just mixed bits of tracings together into random drawings. I don't think they look good, but I don't think they all look bad either, but I only say that because I don't know how to draw. I didn't know where to get the sources from at first. We were told not to do anything that was a sort of artistic drawing, but apparently scientific wasn't off limits because it isn't made to look cool, so much as just be accurate. So, I ended up with rocks, plants, animals, and weird closeups of planets that didn't look like planets. I don't think I learned anything new about art though. That isn't to say anything about this project, I just think as a whole it was more about doing than it was about learning. The experience was fine, and everyone made something that looked interesting.
