I enjoyed this project, I think this was a great beginner challenge because it was hard. I have done many drawing being an art major, however I never had to do a project solely focused on abstract work. When I started on my tracings I was having a difficult time because I felt my drawings were to representative and did not balance in the end there was a degree of symmetry I felt it was lacking. When I finally finished and went on to my 4x4's I found I was having an even more difficult time and started over. My overall designs I ended up using small things around the house for inspiration. Although I used micron pens and Prismacolor markers for all the small lines the most effective I believe was the sharpie, I did not have to waste my good ink on the portions of the drawings that required a lot of shading and after shading a specific area a few times there were virtually no noticeable lines. All in all I enjoyed this project and would do it again.
