Reflection:
This project was one that was fun to complete from start to finish. Finding some of the source material at the beginning was hard at first because I didn't really know where to start or what to use, however when it was supposed to be non- recognizable that's when it clicked. I chose things from my art history book and tweaked them to where you couldn't pick out what they where. You can see that when the main element that is in all the compositions is a corset that it is ripped. When it comes to combining the sketches for the final book, it was easy. It was easy because when it comes to my normal household doodles, I usually draw layered optical illusions, this project was definitely in my comfort zone. I wish that when it came to all of my compositions I stayed with the complexity of the first 4 drawings into the ones at the back of the book as well. But overall I am very proud that I stayed with the repeating pattern of the corset and i am also very proud of how it looked when the book was finally put together. in the beginning of this process i knew that I wanted to pick a single pattern or element from my tracings throughout everyone of my twelve sketches and i think that was successful. The reason why there are no clear borders on each composition is because I was confused on whether or not we were supposed to have them or not so I erased the pencil borders. the other reason was I thought that it would make the compositions look weird being that they go off the page so to end them with the border would take away form the piece itself.
