With project two it was really fun. It was great to relieve some stress with painting. The guache paint though was tricky but once i got used to it, it was easier to use. When approaching the color wheel and the swatches i definitely learned something new because throughout my high school, middle school and elementary school teachings i wasnt taught the color wheel. Im very glad to have this under my belt now being that it is important to have as an art student. So when trying to put the compositions together it was a little difficult. The one that was the most difficult was the organic shape composition because i am used to drawing/doodling geometric designs so when approaching it i did my 23 sketches at random. After doing that i picked the four random shapes i liked and arranged them to look like smoke coming from the bottom left corner, but when painted with the different shades and hues of crimson looked like fire and im okay with that. When approaching the geometric composition i first went with a more complicated design with the tones of emerald but i didnt think it looked good so i transitioned to ultramarine and a fish-like design. Overall i am proud to have done this project and got the compositions that i produced and am sad/intrigued to see what destroying them will bring.
