For this project, I feel like I procrastinated a lot. I wasn't really sure how I wanted it to go. Also, I was a bit confused on how many pictures we were supposed to paint. I thought it was more than two. Also, because I've never painted, I painted 1 of my geometric shapes and 1 of my organic shapes (the square with the triangles in it and the tree with the leaves on the side) just to get more of a feel for the gouache. As far as the final project, I'm not exactly satisfied with it. It's so different when you have the pictures up on a wall rather than right in front of you. As soon as I saw my paintings on the wall, I immediately started critiquing my own work. I saw the similarities and how they were just too alike and I also realized that my color choices weren't exactly the best. From the critique of my classmates, they agreed with the similarities of how they were too alike and the poor color choices as well. Overall, I think I could've done a bit better if I hadn't procrastinated so much and if I had prior knowledge on the usage of the gouache paint.
